ECIGAL participated last weekend, from July 12 to 14, in the “Estival 4.7” organized by the 4.7 Movement with the support of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).
The 4.7 Movement ( https://www.4punto7.org/ ) is a platform promoted by four organizations in the field of international cooperation (Alboan, Entreculturas, InteRed and ONGAWA) that today operates with its own autonomy, expanding to more than 30 institutions of different nature, including NGOs, educational centers, citizen movements and members of the educational community.
The “Estival 4.7”, developed as a summer workshop on political and social advocacy, represented a scenario of participatory analysis and joint reflection on the degree of commitment of the educational system in fulfilling goal 4.7 after the implementation of the LOMLOE (2020 ), as well as an opportunity to jointly build the bases of the political and social impact strategy from the 4.7 Movement, given that Education for Development and Global Citizenship still does not reach the classrooms.
