In the second phase of this collaborative action-research (IAP) project, we worked on the processes of implementation, data collection and analysis. The application of the Comprehensive Action Plan involved making certain unplanned modifications to the design, due to the change of academic year accompanied by a process of staff mobility.
The designed actions were integrated into the “A Vaquiña polo que vale” project and, for each teaching proposal, the following were defined: the activity to be carried out, the objectives, the content, the methodologies, the resources, the evaluation processes, the connection with the centre’s project and with other projects, the teaching staff involved, the educational level, the themes and their link to the curriculum. The specific plans were named as follows: Plan I: Livestock farms; Plan II: Milk; Plan III: World and society.
We used an emic perspective (by collecting teachers’ evaluations of the lessons to provide the internal view) and an etic perspective (by participating in and observing the practices from an external viewpoint). We also analysed the inter-institutional relationships that were generated throughout the collaboration.
