Presentation on ICT and unwanted loneliness among older people

On 9 November 2023, at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MARCO) in Vigo, we presented the results of a study commissioned by Fundación Esplai – Ciudadanía Comprometida, on ICT and unwanted loneliness among older people. Using focus groups, we explored the possibilities and limitations of new technologies for addressing this phenomenon, and made some recommendations on the necessary training and support. We will be sharing the final report of the study shortly.
