The ECIGAL Research Group is born

We at ECIGAL have years of collaborative work behind us, which has been fed back by our own research and the implementation of educational initiatives to define new challenges and ways of doing things. As a result of this shared journey, in 2020, we formally established a research group focused on education for global citizenship (ECIGAL), in line with SDG 4.7 and within the framework of the LOMLOE, for sustainable development and global citizenship.
As a group, we want to contribute through education to tackling interconnected global problems with shared responsibility, dignity and commitment, in pursuit of just and sustainable societies.
We maintain an ongoing collaboration with third-sector organisations to promote active citizenship practices that guarantee social cohesion and environmental justice, from an intercultural perspective, in an interdependent world.
