Congratulations to Dr Zeynep Pamukçu, who on Monday 4 March 2024 defended her thesis entitled Minority Children’s Perception of Race: A Child-Centered Ethnographic Approach. The thesis, co-supervised by Renée DePalma and Antía Pérez Caramés, is based on an ethnographic study conducted in an NGO and explores how racialised children of immigrant origin understand themselves and society in terms of key concepts such as race, nationality and religion.
