ECIGAL participates in Estival 4.7.

ECIGAL participated last weekend, from 12 to 14 July, in “Estival 4.7”, organised by the 4.7 Movement with the support of the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation (AECID).

The 4.7 Movement (https://www.4punto7.org/) is a platform driven by four organisations in the field of international cooperation (Alboan, Entreculturas, InteRed and ONGAWA) which today operates with its own autonomy, having expanded to more than 30 institutions of various kinds, including NGOs, educational centres, civic movements and members of the educational community. 

The Estival, developed as a Summer Workshop on political and social advocacy, provided a participatory setting for joint analysis and reflection on the level of commitment of the education system to fulfilling goal 4.7 following the implementation of the LOMLOE (2020), as well as an opportunity to jointly build the foundations of the political and social advocacy strategy from the 4.7 Movement, given that Education for Global Development and Citizenship is still not reaching the classrooms.
