New addition to the ECIGAL team

In their own words:

I am an engineer by training from the National University of Loja, in southern Ecuador. For two years I was in Germany doing a Master’s in Science and Technology Studies at the Technical University of Munich, where I was introduced to the social sciences and humanities. I recently received my PhD in Logic and Philosophy of Science within the Science and Technology Studies programme from the University of Salamanca.

My research interests centre on the critical and sociomaterial understanding of sciences and technologies. In particular, I have researched critical literacy at the philosophical, social, and epistemological intersection of digital technologies and digitality.

Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher in the ECIGAL research group at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, University of A Coruña, with a Juan de la Cierva 2024-2026 grant.
