TOOLKIT: Promoting children’s participation at a local level

We are sharing this toolkit with you, aimed at professionals and key figures who support children and adolescents in decision-making processes.
It was designed as part of an inter-university project that some of us were involved in, led by the University of Barcelona, in collaboration with the University of A Coruña, UNED and the University of Seville, as well as with technicians from municipalities in Catalonia, Galicia, Madrid and Andalusia.
The tools it provides will support the development of skills for accompaniment and will strengthen children’s participation in local councils. These are practical resources and activities to make this task easier for professionals and to strengthen the participation of children and young people as active, capable citizens with a voice in various spaces.
